The Vapors

Life is fleeting. It's been said to be akin to a vapor; vanishing! Well, as February hurries to an end, I realized that 2010 had commenced without a rambling from me. I've fasted for 40, read, prayed, preached, taught, laughed, changed countless diapers, cleaned up, messed up, fessed up, repeated, and I still cannot fathom the reality of it being near March. If I'm not careful, I'll be catching 'The Vapors.' Oops, I've already caught them...

I've recently learned that life is best lived with its rhythm. As we follow the natural and supernatural rhythms of our lives, we will better experience all that God has purposed. It's when we fight against these rhythms that we find ourselves catching 'The Vapors.' Our ultimate goal is to make Him look good, but when we look bad (physically, spiritually, emotionally, relationally, professionally, financially, overally), we ultimately catch, well you know by now...

LIVE. As I experience each moment that is purposed and allowed, I must LIVE. I must open my eyes and begin to see. This sight will give way to the beauty around me. WIFE. SON. FRIENDS. HIM.

No more vapors....
